The coronavirus pandemic has brought in too much stress and uncertainty not only to our lives but also for businesses. Some companies took a hit, and the economy has been affected. However, some things were not affected. And that is the importance of SEO. It has always been important for all industries, and never did it change, especially today. 

 

There are some companies who decided to pull back and stop SEO activity because of the pandemic. However, you should know that reducing or stopping marketing, and online advertising will only negatively affect the business. It will surely hurt your business in the long run.

Since we are advised to practice social distancing and to stay at home, the internet is being used most of the time. According to Forbes, internet usage has jumped to almost 70%. Since many people are staying at home and probably bored, create entertaining, exciting, and fun content that will help your brand stand out and get ahead from your competitors. Make videos that are out of the box that will get the attention of the viewers.

If your company has helped the community during this pandemic, share that in your newsletter or social media campaigns or find a way where you can insert that in your content. People usually like a business that shows their human side. They’ll be happier if they know your business is something they can relate with.
